These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the AlphaPnL Trading Journal app and our website (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service provides tools for journaling and personal insights only. It does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.
Your data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect or store your personal data on our servers. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
To generate summaries and analytics, the app may process sanitized, non-personal data with OpenRouter AI. Before any data is sent, sensitive details are automatically redacted:
extractFromNote: redacts tickers, emails, phone numbers, account numbers, SSNs, credit cards (replaced with [TICKER], [EMAIL], [PHONE], [ACCOUNT], [SSN], [CARD]).generateWeeklySummary: aggregated statistics only (no personal details).generateTradingAnalysis: non-personal aggregates such as period (weekly/monthly), total P/L, win rate, entry counts, top tags/emotions/mistakes (with averages and counts), time-of-day stats, performance metrics (avg win/loss, profit factor, drawdowns, streaks), first 100 characters of the 5 most recent notes (sanitized), tags/emotions/mistakes from recent entries, and dates/amounts.generateNoteContent: date, P/L amount, and tags list only.No raw personal information, credentials, or unredacted notes are transmitted. OpenRouter receives no user identifiers and does not retain the sanitized data beyond processing. See the Privacy Policy for more.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, or circumvent security, or using the Service for unlawful activities.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NorByte is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service.
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of the state of our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Courts located in that state shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
